1. Membership Types
- Full
- Associate
- Honorary
2. Full Membership of the Society requires the applicant to meet one of the following criteria
- Military Veteran, retired RCMP or retired First Responder;
- Serving military, RCMP or First Responder;
- Any person approved by the Board of Directors or their designate.
2.1 Expectations
- Understand and comply with Code of Conduct.
- Commit to 40 volunteer hours per year, in support of Society operations (Fund raising, fooddrives, warehouse work, help at the retreat or alternatively provide services in kind).
- Promote and encourage those eligible to receive the Services of the Society, to use them.
- Promote and encourage donors, sponsors to support the Society.
2.2 Rights
- Attend organized events (Grand Openings, retreat meet and greets).
- Provide Opportunity for Improvement suggestions.
- Attend, participate and vote at meetings.
3. Associate Membership of the Society requires the applicant to meet the following criteria
Any person can apply directly or be nominated by a full or associate member.3.1 Expectations
- Understand and comply with Code of Conduct.
- Commit to 40 volunteer hours per year, in support of Society operations (Fund raising, fooddrives, warehouse work, help at the retreat or alternatively provide services in kind).
- Promote and encourage those eligible to receive the Services of the Society, to use them.
- Promote and encourage donors, sponsors to support the Society.
3.2 Rights
- Attend organized events (Grand Openings, retreat meet and greets).
- Provide Opportunity for Improvement suggestions.
- Apply for Full Membership after one year.
4. Honorary Membership is by nomination
Must be vetted and approved by the Board of Directors.Notes: A person who supports, endorses, promotes the Society beyond regular activities (Local Councillor, MLA, MP, senior military officers, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, legacy donors etc.).
4.1 Expectations
- Understand and comply with Code of Conduct.
- Attend and/or promote fund raising, food drives etc.
- Promote the Services of the Society.
- Promote and encourage donors, sponsors to support the Society.
4.2 Rights
- Attend organized events (Grand Openings, retreat meet and greets).
- Provide Opportunity for Improvement suggestions.
